Recording Tips and More

Welcome to my Blog, a place where I'll give out tips and tricks based on questions I get most of the times!

This blog is about the recording process of Voice Over and Music

I’m a freelance engineer born in Milan, Italy. After a career as a musician in Milan’s underground music scene, I moved to the US to study sound recording at the renowned Hartt School of Music. There I acquired an extensive background in audio engineering technical skills while expanding my musical knowledge, studying theory, and performing in ensembles.

In addition to my applied and academic experiences in the field of music, I’ve studied voice performance with some of the most distinguished teachers in the US, including Dave Kyle who has worked with Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, Liza Minnelli, and Geoff Tate of Queensryche, as well as Silvia Magnani from Milan.

I started my studio career as an assistant engineer at one of the most advanced recording facilities in New England, Futura Productions in Boston, where I worked on multiple projects ranging from recording members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra to recording scores for Xbox video games.

I then moved to Tapeworks Recording Studios, one of the oldest and most recognized recording facilities in Connecticut. There I became a staff engineer, specializing in recording and mixing some of the best a cappella groups in the area.

I 'm now permanently settled in Los Angeles, CA, where I opened my own studio and I’m now working with lots of musicians and Voice Over talents.

With this blog I'm opening a door for aspiring musicians, Voice Over talents and recording engineers to get to their craft perfected in the fastest possible way. But I will also link bios and experiences from clients who'll want to be featured on BonziRecording.com
